Boy Scouts collect 12 Tons of Food, 8000 books, and more


Texarkana Boy Scouts "Scouting for Food" campaign a success. In addition to 24,000 lbs of food, they gathered 8000 books, 300 old cell phones and ink jet cartridges. Distributed among local area agencies, the food will feed the needy during the holiday season. The books go to the local area Literacy council.
